Busy, busy...

It's said a picture is worth thousand words so this will have to do today. This pretty much sums up the last week or so. We've had a painter in to touch up the house and it's looking tidy and terrific. So terrific I absolutely do not want to sell it. So tidy that I may keel over before the week ends. Blogging is taking a back seat along with exercise, a social life and my sanity. Ah well, who said moving was easy?

  2. It looks very well, and is ammunition for me in my eternal internal debate with myself on whether to expend effort and spend money on the house. Do it now, I tell myself, not when I sell it. I hope you get a higher price for all that tidiness and handsome colour.

  3. That spot looks beautiful. I love the grey and whites. I could imagine how hard it'd be to sell it once it's all been perfected!

  5. Oh wow, can't believe you're moving again! Love the paint colour, though, and I hope you don't end up liking your 'new' house too much otherwise you won't want to leave!

  7. Sigh. It really is such a shame, Ann, to leave that behind. But I'm still glad you're coming back! J x

  8. Your buyers will really appreciate all your effort though Ann, even if it is such a shame you won't get to enjoy it yourselves. Isn't this so often the way!

  9. I hear you! We just had the real estate agent through yesterday for photos, I've never ever seen our home look so clean and tidy and... finished. And now we're leaving.

I love that paint colour, it's gorgeous! Take lots of photos :)

  11. For anyone who's interested and Jennywren in particular - the colour is Resene Taupe Grey. Trim is Resene Sea Fog. And I'd use the Taupe Grey again... I love it... not too brown and not too grey and not too much when you're close to it but just right on a whole house.

  12. Hi Ann. Visiting here (albeit years later!), and would love to know what white you used on the windows, and what black on the front door? I'm so hoping you will find this message and hop online to let me know. I'm sure there are a lot of sad readers (me included) who miss your blogging days. Thanks so much! heather at micanip dot com (Brissy)

    1. The paint colours are in the comment above - do you mean current house in Melbs or the Auckland place ?
