Beautiful sunny weather. Basking in the sun on the deck of our rented bach, reading, playing lego, hunting for crabs in the rockpools, playing football on the sand, chasing seagulls, drinking red and toasting marshmallows on the open fire, grazing at the farmer's market, marvelling at the Kiwi countryside, revelling in the clear, cool air and sleeping, quite a lot of sleeping.
Beautiful isn't it?
Beautiful isn't it?
Sounds like a wonderful weekend away!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like bliss...and such beautiful photos as well!
ReplyDeleteYes it is beautiful. I can remember, as a child, drawing around our elongated shadows, on the beach, and the rock pools and wet jeans.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blissful holiday.

Hello my long lost Ann..I've just caught up on your last few posts. It really does sound like you're happy there. Your family seem to make the most of the place you're in..I admire that. I love farmers markets too..did you ever visit the Yarra Valley one when you were in Melbourne? That's my local..Love the Barefoot Contessa too, she has a great sense of humour. Your photos of your gorgeous boys are great, much better than mine. I'm trying..Catch up again soon..Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteHi Ann. Okay , it's confession time for me...no primer at all, just a good sand and 2 coats of paint. I like to use the water based enamels that are available. I have been using British Paints, Dulux and Taubmans lately. If the paint starts chipping, I'll just distress it ;o)
ReplyDeleteMake the most of that High. I know they can be few and far between at this time of year but they are glorious when they do eventuate.
