Villa love...

This was my favourite Auckland house, not mine of course.

Fit for a princess, it's in one of the city's most expensive suburbs and those beautiful windows look out over the water.

When I first moved to Auckland it was a little rundown with peeling paint and a neglected garden but over the two years we were there it got a little love.

And a lot of love from me, from afar.

  2. Such an interesting looking house Ann. The chimney locations are pretty intriguing and I'd love to know what the top room is used for surrounded by windows. Just lovely.

  3. Love it! Which suburb? Is that Rangitoto in the distance? Just looking at these images makes my heart sing....we lived in Remuera and are in the process of selling our house, letting go after living afar for two years. I loved living in NZ...such a fantastic spot with wonderful people. Thanks for the trip down memory lane...:)

  4. I can absolutely understand your love. I wonder what it is like inside? How good that it was finally getting some love from it's owners! xx

  5. Beautiful! I love in particular the villas around Cheltenham (or Devonport in general). There's one that I especially love, that went on the market last year - my little dream villa! Just around the corner from the beach! Sadly we failed to win lotto so...

  9. How gorgeous. I keep seeing pictures of white houses in blogland. Maybe someone is trying to help me with our house colours. ;-)
