Walking with the family in Wellington last week (actually running, my boys never walk anywhere) we came upon this little grove of hydrangeas in a shady corner of the Botanical Gardens. Gorgeous.
Okay so the dusty pink is a little bit grandma. But who cares? Grandmas are the new black, just ask my mum.
C'mon Ann...there's nothing grandma about pink! But I'm with your mum, not that I'm a grandma yet...thankfully :) Hope you're enjoying The Elegance of the Hedgehog. I loved it.
Well I'm a gran (yes, we're the new black!!) and I used to hate hydrangeas, but now I'm getting into them. The lacecap ones are very pretty. I think small shrubs of them amongst other flowers, are quite pretty :)

ReplyDeleteLove the blue one especially. I wear that colour a lot as it makes my really-grey-but-i-pretend-they're-blue eyes look bluer!
