While I'm pondering the problems of modern day communication... and wasting more than a little time online I found this... a bit of fun for a Friday.
I found it here, one of a series of retro style ads for modern communication... by the Brazilian ad agency Moma. Their website is rather cool too. Have a look and wait a few seconds for it to load. Worth it I thought.India Knight is a writer I grew to love in London and her blog is snippets of things she likes. Simple but on my must-read list.
Enjoy your weekend. It's set to stay sunny here in Auckland and we plan to make the most of it.
Hi, Ann!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see the seasons in harmony. We're going into fall with red and gold leaves ready to fall.
I tried to e-mail you but my computer's not configured to originate Outlook Express without installing the program (which I don't wish to do); however, I can respond to Outlook Express. I'd like to share some info with you that may/may not be of interest. Never know. I'm at kittiehoward@gmail.com Enjoy your weekend!
Clever ad. I am not a twitter er, I am sure I could never keep my communications to less than 140 letters!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very clever add and thanks for the link to India Knight. She's cool!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooooo funny! I love it!!!!!! Thanks for sharing Ann, and have a fantastic weekend, and I hope the long white cloud stays away for you :)

That's amusing, and somehow helps to put our current technologies in context. It's good to see ads using actual sentences.
ReplyDeleteNot being a twitter type of person I thought at first it was a genuine old ad!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's fabulous and I am of to have a look at the site.
Have a fabulous sunny weekend xx
